One of the many types of gates we offer is our driveway gates, handmade in the heart of Devon at our local workshop. These gates are made to order due to the bespoke sizes available to each customer. Our joinery team have years of experience between them in making these gates so be confident that they will arrive to your door as described, ready to be installed. Our driveway gates are the perfect finish to any driveway and create a modern, contemporary design whilst also implementing a strong and durable structure which will last for many years to come. We have many different designs and styles available for you to pick from, ensuring that you find the perfect one to match your house and driveway. These include our Highampton, Croyde, Cottage, Shebbear Featheredge, Clovelly, Exbourne and Diamond Brace designs. Our Highhampton, Croyde, Clovelly and Cottage gates are made with Tongue and Groove boards which have been pressure treated using a green pressure Lonza treatment and a 15 year treat right warranty. Our featheredge gates have also been treated with a tanalith pressure treatment implementing a long-lasting and durable gate. You may also wish for a driveway side gate which can be made in any design to match your driveway gate providing a solution if there are any other gaps showing within your driveway.

Another category of gates within our pressure treated collection is our field gates used to keep livestock within certain areas and fields and to stop unfamiliar people or animals entering the field. We have three different designs within our field gate category which includes our Diamond Brace Field Gate, Planed 5 Bar Field Gate and our Exbourne Curved Heel Gate. All three have great strength and are very popular within our farming community, especially the diamond brace field gate due to the 4”x3” top rail adding great stability to the gate and making it extremely sturdy. All gates are available in sizes from 3ft to 12ft suiting pretty much any entrances to fields and open landscape areas. With each one having a slightly different design, we believe they will suit all preferences and would be a great addition to any field entrances, stables or yards.

One more category we have here at Ruby are Side gates - and a great range of them too - in many different designs, shapes and sizes. Side gates help to restrict access to the side of a property and are installed to the side of the house. They act as a visual barrier to your back garden offering you more privacy and a sense of protection.  There is a range of side gates available at Ruby, ranging from featheredge gates, picket gates and picket curved gates to tongue and groove latticed top gates and tongue and groove arched top gates. We understand that when choosing a side gate, it can actually be a tricky job because of the vast options available to you. Our final category within the pressure-treated gate collection is garden gates, commonly used as an attractive feature to add to a garden giving an aesthetically pleasing look and adding design elements. Available to purchase here at Ruby UK are Osmo Stains used to keep your timber gates in pristine condition whilst also increasing their lifetime. Osmo stains work by using pigments which replicate the colour of the wood in its natural form keeping the colour of the wood for longer periods of time. It also helps to stop the rotting of the wood and reduces the swelling or shrinkage. Perfect for keeping your gates in order and great condition.
