Yes! Our gates arrive fully assembled at your doorstep, so no construction is needed!
Our Cedar Slatted Gates Pair are untreated due to the natural durability of Cedar.
Cedar is a naturally long-lasting softwood, with the average lifespan being 15-30 years if properly maintained. Cedar is also very popular due to its rich golden brown colour, tight growth rings, and strong grain.
All of our gates are made-to-order, so we don't typically have them in stock—only the materials.
This gate has a smooth, planed finish.
Home-Grown Native Western Red Cedar is used to make this gate.

Our gates do not arrive with the hinges and posts; these will need to be purchased separately. You can find these on our website, or when adding the gate to your basket as 'Get extras for your product'.
We absolutely do! Just like our fencing and pergolas, we can make completely bespoke Entrance Gates. If you'd like a quote for your measurements, please contact our Sales team on 01409 231 763 or sales@ruby-group.co.uk.
You can! You can only use water-based paint on our gates; however, you will need to ensure the gate is as dry as possible before painting. We do recommend applying UV protection to the gate prior to painting also.
We highly recommend treating your gate at least every 6 months with Osmo Oil, to protect your gates against the elements and against decay, as well as discolouration. We also recommend checking your gates every so often and removing any built-up dirt and grime.
