Western Red Canadian Cedar 70mm x 19mm Rainscreen

Canadian Western Red Cedar Rainscreen Cladding – 70mm × 19mm

Bring natural warmth and contemporary style to your project with our Canadian Western Red Cedar Rainscreen Cladding. The slim 70mm × 19mm profile creates clean lines and an attractive shadow effect, making it ideal for garden rooms, extensions, homes and commercial buildings.

Western Red Cedar is valued for its lightweight structure, dimensional stability and naturally decay-resistant heartwood. Its distinctive grain and varied tones give each board individual character, creating an exterior with depth and warmth.

Left uncoated, cedar gradually loses its original colour and weathers towards grey, with the appearance varying depending on exposure to sunlight and moisture. To help retain its warm tones, apply a suitable pigmented exterior timber finish and maintain it in line with the coating manufacturer’s guidance.
