Please Note: *Feet are not included in accessories but are an optional extra. The pergola comes without a waterproof roof membrane so will not be waterproof. If you would like to make it waterproof, you can simply apply a waterproof roof membrane, available here.

This product is specifically manufactured upon order placement and falls under our "Made-To-Measure" product range. We encourage you to review our Terms and Conditions (Section 2) before placing an order, as they detail guidance regarding orders, returns, and cancellations for "Made-To-Measure" product range.

If the posts are going into ground contact we would always recommend applying Bitumen to the part that is in the ground and sitting just above it. This will help protect timber from rotting.

Description

Our extremely sturdy, incredibly well-made rustic pergola with all the components and fixings needed creating a stress-free, relatively easy project. To begin with, all the timber is pre-cut to size, and a step-by-step instruction guide is provided to give you all the necessary advice on how to assemble the perfect pergola. This pergola is of such great quality and really provides a convenient and useful place for outdoor purposes, where cover is of preference and needed. The frame provides a great structure and looks really good with flowers and plants wrapped around the legs.

Once completed, the pergola provides a rustic but contemporary feel, creating a modern impression on your outside spaces and gardens. It provides well-needed shade in those hot summer months. In terms of the timber that we use, it is a spruce/larch softwood mix and pressure treated using a green tanalith pressure treatment to ensure a long life and resistance to rot. Perfect for those Hot Tubs, patio areas or ponds. With different sizes available, be sure that we can create and provide you with your perfect pergola.

Full detailed assembly guide is provided, if you have any questions our manufacturing team will be happy to provide unlimited advice.

Frequently Asked Questions

Here’s what we get asked most often.

Are the components pressure treated?

Yes! All the components of the pergola are pressure-treated, aside from the roofing. This is to protect the timber against decay, ensuring longevity.

What are Katepal Shingles made from?

All Katepal roofing shingles are made of SBS Bitumen and all have excellent performance properties, such as a high tolerance for bending and better tear resistance.

Do you make bespoke pergolas?

We absolutely do! Just like our gates and fencing, we can make completely bespoke pergolas. If you'd like a quote for your measurements, please contact our Sales team on 01409 231 763 or sales@ruby-group.co.uk.

Is your Katepal Grey Shingle Gazebo weatherproof?
If a weatherproof membrane is used, and adequately maintained with Osmo Oil, our pergolas are weatherproof.

What does 'with Overhang' mean?

A Pergola with Overhang has roofing that comes out past the front ring beam to create 'Overhang'.

What is the difference between an Apex Pergola and a 4 Pitch Apex Pergola?

An Apex roof pergola is a pergola that has a roof with two slopes that form an “A” shape, with the “apex” being the high point or peak where the slopes meet in the middle. Whereas, our 4 pitch pergola forms a 'cone' shape, with the 4 sides meeting in the middle.

Does the gazebo arrive fully assembled?

The Gazebo does not arrive fully assembled, however we have created in-depth manuals to guide you on assembly - so whether you're a keen DIY enthusiast or a professional fitter, you can construct our pergolas yourself. You can find these manuals on the specification table on each listing.

Are fixings included?

All the fixings needed for installation are included in the delivery of your pergola parts!

Can I paint my pergola?

You can! You can only use water-based paint on our pergolas, however, and you will need to ensure the pergola is as dry as possible before painting. We do recommend applying UV protection prior to painting also.

What maintenance is required?

We highly recommend treating your pergola at least every 6 months with Osmo Oil, to protect your gazebo against the elements and against decay. We also recommend checking your pergola every so often and removing any built-up dirt and grime.

How long does your Gazebos last?

Our Gazebos can last anywhere from 10-20 years if properly maintained.

Is shipping free?

Delivery is free on all orders over £150! We offer this service to all our UK mainland customers. If you are located outside mainland UK, please contact us for a quote!
