Hand-crafted in the heart of Devon, our Double-Sided Slatted Fence Panels are a secure and stylish game-changer for any property. They offer enhanced privacy and security, removing any gaps for prying eyes and ensuring your peace and quiet is maintained. Moreover, the dual-designed slats on both sides offer an attractive view from either side you’re facing, allowing both you and your neighbours to appreciate it.

These panels are offered in both British Cedar and Larch, presenting different options depending on your needs.

British Cedar

Cedar’s specialty is in its lightweight nature, offering easy handling and installation in comparison to heavier wood. Using this wood will maximise efficiency of any project whilst maintaining a high-quality finish.

British Larch

Larch offers many of the same benefits as Cedar, but at a more affordable price. With this, you can achieve the premium look you’re after without overstepping your budget.

Maintenance

Wood colour fades over time - to have your panels retain their stunning, natural colour, we recommend an annual treatment using our UV-Protection Oil.

FAQs
Product
Do you have samples of your slatted panels?

We do! You can find the sample link in the specification table in the listing. Alternatively, you can contact our Sales team on 01409 231 763 or sales@ruby-group.co.uk.

Do your panels arrive fully assembled?
Why are the benefits of Cedar/Larch Panels compared to other timbers?

Cedar and Larch are both naturally long-lasting softwoods, with the average lifespan being 15-30 years if properly maintained. Both are very popular choices, Larch for its deep reddish-brown color and Cedar for its golden brown color—both with tight growth rings and strong grains.

Is your Cedar/Larch Slatted Fence Panel pressure-treated?

Our Larch Slatted Panels are untreated due to the natural durability of Home-grown Larch.

What finish does your Larch Slatted Fence Panel have?

Our Larch panels are planed for a smooth, refined finish.

What is the size of the gap between the battens?

16mm (this can be altered upon request).

Do you make bespoke panels?

We absolutely do! Just like our gates, we can make completely bespoke fencing panels. If you'd like a quote for your measurements, please contact our Sales team on 01409 231 763 or sales@ruby-group.co.uk.

Aftercare and Maintenance
Can I paint my panels?

We highly recommend treating your panels at least every 6 months with Osmo Oil, to protect your panels against the elements and against decay, as well as discoloration. We also recommend checking your panels every so often and removing any built-up dirt and grime.

What maintenance is required?

If properly maintained, your Larch panels should last between 15-30 years.
