Decking Screws | Fixings

At Ruby, when you buy your decking from us, we want you to have everything you need so that the job can be completed, making it simple and stress free. Therefore, we have high quality decking fixings which will secure the boards in place for many years to come. We have two different types of fixings available to choose from which include our timber decking screws or our Deck-Tite® Plus screws. Both are used for the same purposes but have slightly different characteristics in terms of properties that they possess. Both are great options and comes down to preference at the end of the day.

Deck-Tite® Plus screws are recommended by the Timber Decking and Cladding Association (TDCA) which is a non-profit advisory body that provides expert advice and guidance on how to install and specify timber decking and cladding. They are of the highest quality and have many small features that are designed for a reason. The screws have a square recess; however, a free tool bit is provided which will fit the screws and the spiral thread penetrates the board whilst the part thread prevents jacking. The thin head sits flush on the surface of the board to create a seamless finish. All these features make this screw one of the most impressive and effective screws available. Our decking screws are also of great quality and built to last due to the organic green coated treatment and the hardened CSK recessed shape. This will ensure a tight grip when drilling the screws into place. The thread of the screw will ensure little to no pull retention, securing the boards in place and no movement throughout their lifetime.
