In all different sizes, lengths, and styles, be sure to find your perfect post with us. Commonly used for holding gates and fences, these posts are extremely durable and hardwearing, supporting the weights of gates and fences. The larger sizes are used for gates where a greater load of weight is placed on them whilst the smaller sizes of 3”x3” and 4”x4” are used for side gates, garden gates and fencing. When sourcing our timber posts, we make sure that our posts are ethically sourced meeting all environmental policies and guidelines. When installing your posts, please do allow a 1/3 of the posts height as this section will be planted in the ground and concreted. As well as this, when using your posts for gate purposes and when hanging your gate onto the post, do allow 4” between the gate and post to ensure it can be closed correctly. You may want to look at our ironmongery range which includes hinges, latches, and drop bolts to name a few that we have available to help with the instalment process. 

 Our range of sawn timber posts come in sizes of 3”x 3”, 4”x 4”, 6”x 6”, 7”x 7” and 8”x 8” and lengths of 1.8m and 2.4m. The 4”x 4” Sawn Timber posts do also come in lengths of 3m and 3.6m. These posts are a Larch/Spruce mix and treated using a tanalith pressure treatment ensuring long life through rot and insect resistance. We do also have Oak posts available in 6”x 6” size and a standard 2.4m length. These posts look great and are sure to last for many years to come due to the properties of Oak. We can also offer bespoke sizes for these posts to please get in contact with us and were sure we’ll be able to help. Also available, however currently not listed on our website, is our Iroko posts.
