Our Pressure Treated Salcombe Mortise & Tenon Gates Pair are fully green pressure-treated to prevent against rot and decay.

All of our gates are made-to-order, so we don't typically have them in stock—only the materials.

This gate has a rough sawn finish for a charming, rustic aesthetic.

Joinery Grade Scandinavian Redwood is used for this gate.

Our gates do not arrive with the hinges and posts; these will need to be purchased separately. You can find these on our website, or when adding the gate to your basket as 'Get extras for your product'.

You can! You can only use water-based paint on our gates; however, you will need to ensure the gate is as dry as possible before painting. We do recommend applying UV protection to the gate prior to painting also.

We highly recommend treating your gate at least every 6 months with Osmo Oil, to protect your gates against the elements and against decay, as well as discolouration. We also recommend checking your gates every so often and removing any built-up dirt and grime.
