Fence Components | Treated Timber
Our fencing rail collection is stocked with various lengths and sizes to ensure that you find the right one for your fence and outside garden. The different styles that we can offer mean that we can provide for all different kinds and styles of fences and help you to create the perfect fencing structure. Our fencing rails are of great quality and built to last due to the robust nature and green tanalith pressure treatment to ensure rot resistance. Commonly used for creating borders around fields and livestock areas where fencing panels are not necessary and privacy isn’t a priority, our fencing rails will act as barriers around the field keeping livestock in. As well as this, they are also used for large gardens and outside spaces where the rails can run along horizontally, and the fencing boards being attached perpendicular. They provide great bracing to this type of fencing because of the hardwearing properties and resistance to rot meaning the structure will last for many years.
In terms of the different styles that we can currently offer, we have 3”x2”, 4”x2”, 38mmx88mm and Arris Rail fencing rails. Therefore, plenty of options to choose from and options that will work in different scenarios. Our 4”x2” rail is commonly used for fields and larger areas where strength and durability are a must whilst the 3”x2”, 38mmx88mm and arris rail are better for garden areas where you’ll find smaller spaces and therefore lightweight properties are needed for instalment whilst visual factors are also key. There should be at least two rails running along each gate post parallel to each other to ensure enough stability and strength with one nearer the top and one nearer the bottom.
