Loglap cladding is a type of timber cladding designed to mimic the look of traditional log cabins, while providing a flat surface on the interior side. Similar to shiplap, loglap boards have a profile that allows them to interlock for a tight seal, but they differ significantly in appearance. Each loglap board is machined to have a curved outer surface that resembles the rounded exterior of logs.
Shiplap and Loglap both have a tongue and groove fit - however Shiplap has a slightly longer lip, which provides superior water protection. Shiplap has a more sleek, modern look, perfect for contemporary designs, while loglap embraces the natural beauty of stacked logs, adding rustic charm to any project - great for cladding sheds.
This cladding is 21mm thick!
Yes! Our Redwood Shiplap is thoroughly pressure treated with TanalithE treatment to ensure longevity and durability.
Written by industry professionals, we have created a Cladding Install Guide - which details how to fit your specific cladding, what tools and accessories are needed and more!
Due to it's gorgeous, rustic charm and insulating properties, Loglap is very popular for cladding cabins and sheds.
