Consider selecting an optional extra if you're planning to install the pergola into the ground. As a guideline, approximately one-third of the post will be inserted below ground level. This post extension ensures sufficient space to accommodate the height from the floor to the roof of the pergola.
This selection will mean the posts come in 3.6m lengths (1.2m into ground and 2.4m height above ground)
