A Tongue & Groove gate is a type of gate constructed using a method where the individual boards have a "tongue" on one side and a "groove" on the other. These interlocking features allow the boards to fit together snugly.
This gate is thoroughly pressure-treated with TanalithE treatment, for enhanced protection against the elements.
Our Wellington gate is made from premium, Joinery Grade Scandinavian Redwood

You can! You can only use water-based paint on our gates, however, and you will need to ensure the gate is as dry as possible before painting. We do recommend applying UV protection to the gate prior to painting also.
We strongly recommend treating your garden gate with UV protection at least every 12 months, when the gate is dry. This is to protect your gate against weather related issues such as warping, twists etc. If you are signed up to our email marketing, you will receive a yearly reminder of this!
This refers to which side you would like the hinges on, looking at the gate from the roadside (on the side without the bracing, e.g the 'smooth' side). We need to know this information as this affects the way the gate is manufactured.
If you select the sizes you require, underneath the measurements you will find the suggested hinges and posts for your gate. Simply click Add to Cart!
