Benefits of Using WR Base Coat:
- A clear, solvent-based treatment designed for exterior wood.
- Suitable for a wide range of exterior timber applications.

- Delivers long-lasting protection against rot, insects, and blue stain.
- Microporous formulation prevents cracking, peeling, flaking, or blistering.
- Free from biocides and preservatives, ensuring a safer application.
- Contains high VOC levels; appropriate ventilation is recommended during use.
Coverage: Approximately 12m² per tin with one coat. Applying two coats is recommended for optimal protection.
Osmo WR Base Coat is used as a preventative measure against blue stain, rot, and insect attack. It penetrates deep into the timber creating a protective barrier, preventing water water absorption, swelling and shrinking.
Osmo WR Base Coat is designed to be used as a protective base layer, in conjunction with an additional top coat.
Applying Osmo WR Base Coat is as easy as coating your timber, ideally on all 4 sides, via a brush or roller. For the best results apply 2-3 coats allowing each to dry in-between
