Sapele is an extremely strong, heavy long-lasting timber from tropical Africa. Sapele is almost completely rot and weather-resistant, making it perfect for any bench.
Sapele has many characteristics that resemble Mahogany, Sapele colour is initially golden to dark reddish-brown, but darkens with age.
